Welcome to Fifth Grade at Green Park School. I am looking forward to
teaching your children, and I hope this web page will inform you of the
expectations for the coming year. Because this is the last year in
elementary school, I will be expecting an amazing year of growth.
More responsibilities are asked of all students. This means more
homework and higher expectations in order to prepare them for middle school.
However, I hope that they will also remember that it was a year of fun.
We will be doing several hands-on projects that will make the year memorable.
For instance, we will design tooth pick bridges as well as create power point presentations in
our computer lab.
Fifth Grade ends the year with a swimming party, movies and video games for
the students who have shown responsibility all year. Please see my Classroom

directly, just call and make an appointment, so I can give you my undivided
attention. I encourage you to participate in your child's education.
Together, we can make a difference for the better. I have an open grade book policy that
I will explain to you at our first conference meeting. In the mean time
